Tim Higham - CEO:
Tim James Higham, BA DE CPCU, is a leading visionary in the logistics and transportation field - running the highly successful Interstate Logistics Group - one of the fastest growing logistics companies in the United States.
Tim was widely recognized in the 1990's as revolutionizing the paper intensive insurance industry by making the transaction almost paperless using the Internet. After selling the company (IRC, Inc) in 1998 he turned to the transportation and logistics field - merging "old school" thinking with "new school" technology to start Interstate Logistics Group. Just as he did with the world of insurance, Tim is revolutionizing the transportation industry. Interstate has grown to be one of the largest specialized third party logistics companies in the United States, with revenue per employee over 8 times the national industry average. Profits per employee are 14 times the national industry average. What is the reason for such stellar growth? Technology - using the same ideology that transformed how insurance was distributed - the same solutions now apply to how freight is picked up and delivered across the globe.
Today, Mr. Higham is president and CEO of Interstate Logistics Group, a leading third party logistics company, and CEO of InMotion Global, Inc., the leading ASP.NET TMS provider. He holds a degree in mathematical economics from Coventry University in England, graduating with honors. In 1989 Mr. Higham received the prestigious Duke Of Edinburgh award from HRH Prince Philip and is also a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter. He has appeared often on nationally broadcast television concerning technology issues and is author of two books on the electronic distribution of financial services; Insurance In The 21st Century - Can You Compete and The Winds Of Change - Electronic Commerce In The Financial Services Industry.
Nathaniel Engelsen - President and CIO:
Nathaniel Engelsen, MCSD provides strategic direction to InMotion Global, Inc., leading both daily and technical operations. Nathaniel's commitment to customer satisfaction is the guiding principle behind his management philosophy and informs the way InMotion Global, Inc. does business.
Nathaniel's background is in software development, working on applications for both in-house usage and retail sale. He has worked for $11+ billion dollar companies and small consulting firms. As the Data Security Officer for Adventist Health System Home Health he implemented the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), keeping the confidential health information of tens of thousands of patients secure. While at Adventist Health System he oversaw the implementation of the Horizon Homecare management suite and provided tie-in applications used by hundreds of users. Developing software for the Soft-Aid practice management system he learned the value of quality and responsiveness while developing clinical applications used in doctors' offices around the country.
During his tenure with Innovative Technologies in Riverview, FL, Nathaniel developed InMotion Global specifically to be the most advanced distribution and transportation management system geared specifically for growers. Working with Tim Higham at Interstate Transport allowed Nathaniel to glean how a TMS created for growers should operate, and by working intimately with growers already using Interstate Transport he developed InMotion Global tailored to those needs. Tim later created InMotion Global, Inc. to capitalize on the success of their collaboration and asked Nathaniel to lead the company and provide the technology for free to shippers as a "Software as a Service" (SaaS) solution.
Nathaniel has a BS in Business Administration / Management Information Systems from Rowan University and his Microsoft Certified Solution Developer credential from Microsoft. He has audited MBA classes at the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management and is a graduate of the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate School.
